Step by Step

From sign-up to your first case write-up.

Create your account and choose an entry point

Start at the Legal AI portal and choose Express Case Breakdown or Full Express, depending on how much support your case needs. Both create your private, members-only case page.

Not sure which tier fits? Start with Express โ€” you can always add a heavier strategy pack later without losing anything you've already built.

Fill out your case intake

Answer a short set of questions about your charge, jurisdiction, and where you are in the process (pre-hearing, awaiting trial, post-filing, etc.). This is what the AI uses to tailor everything downstream โ€” the more accurate this is, the better the write-up.

Upload your documents

Use the secure upload area to add discovery, police reports, citations, and any court orders. Uploads live in your private portal only โ€” they aren't public and aren't shared outside your account.

Uploading everything you have โ€” even partial or messy paperwork โ€” gives the AI more to work with. You can always add more later.

Review your AI case write-up

Once intake and documents are in, your case write-up generates: a plain-language summary of your situation, the procedural posture, and what typically happens next in a case like yours.

Generate your motion, letter, and courtroom script

From your case page, request your first motion draft, letter, and courtroom script. Each one is generated from your actual case details, not a generic template โ€” review and edit before using any of them.

Bring drafts to a public defender or private attorney for review whenever possible. Legal AI is built to make that conversation faster, not to replace it.

Keep your case timeline updated

Log hearing dates, deadlines, and notes as your case moves forward. Your timeline stays attached to your account so nothing gets lost between court dates.

Walk in prepared

Use your courtroom script and case notes as your reference going into a hearing. If your case grows more complex, upgrade to Full Express for additional motions and a heavier strategy pack.

Common Questions

Quick answers before you dive in.

Is this legal advice?

No. Legal AI is educational, self-help tooling. It's built to help you understand your situation and prepare paperwork โ€” always have a licensed attorney review anything before you file or rely on it in court.

Is my information private?

Your case page and uploads are private to your account, accessible only through your login.

Can I upgrade later?

Yes โ€” you can move from Express Case Breakdown to Full Express at any point without losing your existing case data.

Does this work with my attorney?

Yes โ€” drafts and case notes are built to bring to a public defender or private attorney, not to replace one.
